I wish Valve would focus more on what should be basic features, like giving users control over DLC installation or what version of a game to have installed. But hey, living room stuff is cool too, I guess. Hopefully it's at least something other than the "Steam Box", which is more honestly known as a glorified pre-built from Valve.

Honestly, even if it was, I'd buy it.

It might actually be a smart business move -- most Steam players have a computer that can run the games they want to play. Why pay $400+ when we've got the hardware we need already? We just need a way to display it in a room the PC isn't in.

Think Chromecast but with Steam.

Id be ok with that. As long as its done right and includes usb slots to attach mouse keyboard controller ect

Hopefully it's a $700 equivalent PC that only costs $300 or $400 that makes money off Steam sales.
