Has anyone tried State of Decay on PC? Impressions?

I am fine with controller play and have been waiting awhile for this. Is it playable? Is it super buggy? How does the pc version as it is now hold up to the Xbox version?

I think jake-sf bought it. Maybe he'll tell us what he thinks. He's a huge 360 controller fan.

I bought it, I think it is really fun and controls are nice. No too far into it (about 25 minutes in) but performance wise was a good 70+ constant fps on a Radeon 7970/i5-2500k on 2560x1440 with all the settings on max, well it's just a slider so far, they are working on adding more options for customization and of course optimization.

Gameplay so far to me is really fun, coming off the heels of so much DayZ playing then playing this, it will be hard to go back to how DayZ is at the moment. The controls are just very nicely done in State of Decay imo. Story seems to be unfolding well and mechanics seem ok. I noticed a few lighting anomalies and experienced a single crash when trying to jump through a window....which is pretty damn cool....but all in all I say it's great for 20 dollars.

Edit: I wanted to say I cannot comment on the Xbox 360 version as I never played it since I had heard this was coming to PC when the game launched and I decided to wait.

I bought it and played for four hours last night. I experienced no bugs and had tons of fun. Its a steal for 20$.

The game didn't work with optimus and kept using my integrated GPU. I hadtogo into nvidia control panel and make it only use my gtx card.

There is no 1089p supported yet and no mouse and kyboard- its controller only.

The game still looked great at the highest resolution and played great. It is an early access game, and as such I think it is great.

Yeah I bought it too and it's pretty good. It turns out that there actually is keyboard and mouse support, but you can't remap the keys and all the screen prompts are for the 360 controller.

Here's the keyboard and mouse controls:
