so i just upgraded from a 560ti to a 7970. i decide to do some overclocking and benchmarks. I run benchmarks for tomb raider, sleeping dogs, and hit-man with nice results. so i run metro:LL and during the benchmark i hear a loud rattling coming from the rig. later on i hear it again and now I'm concerned. Now this is my first time overclocking so i don't know what is going on. I get on google looking for answers but know luck. i run metro again and same thing. and all my temps are good. i try it 1 more time and something falls from my rig. i look on the floor and there is my 360 controller rattling away.

GOD I'M SUCH IDIOT!

(and NO i do not play FPS with a controller)

O man... that would be scary. I'm glad to hear it was just the controller.

How is the overclock going?

I've had games that had controller support turned on by default screw with me like that too. I use my 360 controller for emulators, games like Defense Grid which work better with them, and games like Hunted: The Demon Forge which have keyboard and mouse controls so f***ed up that it's virtually impossible to get them right. As such msot the time when I'm playing a competently made game I don't expect it, and it's a surprise when I hear the controller rattling around on the floor or see it vibrating off of my tower.
