"Best" Gaming Mouse for first person shooters like Battlefield 3 and 4?

#1koichiPosted 9/21/2013 2:29:04 PM
I'm currently am using a Mx310 and love it, but its starting to show its age so I felt like I need to get with the times.

Was looking at;

Razor Deathadder 2013
Logitech G9X
Logitech G400
Logitech G700

Which one would be best,? Or maybe I overlooked a mouse on the list? Feel free to suggest one. Just looking for a First Person Shooter mouse, no 20+ button mouses...

While on the subject, any suggestions for a new keyboard? One preferable built to HANDLE gaming and not put me at a disadvantage in anyway. I kinda like the flat keyboards where the buttons dont stick out too far (i think its the normal type of keyboards now a days?)

I've heard good things about the Corsair M65.

As far as keyboards are concerned, Microsoft Sidewinder X4 is really the only decent membrane board, most of the recommendations you'll get here will be for mechanical keyboards.

Mechanical keyboards would be your best bet, really. But if you want one with flat keys the Sidewinder, as suggested, is the way to go. As for the mouse, the Deathadder is probably the best of those choices

I didnt realize that those kind of keyboards arent the norm. I can adapt though if needed, what mechanical keyboards are good? I'll take a suggested list and then compare them with the sidewinder.

I like my sidewinder x4 and have no desire to get a mechanical keyboard. I was watching a video and some chick was clacking away on her keyboard and it was obnoxiously loud, I can only assume it was mechanical.

Never listen to anyone who suggests what switches to use. They are not you and you are not them. Go to an electronics store (preferably one that specializes in computer hardware) and try out the switches yourself. If they don't have a test area, get this http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/sampler-kit-1.html. Come back when you know what type of switch feels best to you
