Honestly, you should start from scratch.

The thing is I don't have that much money to work with. A real gaming pc would be would cost from $600 to around $1400. I was willing to spend around $300 to $350. Is there really nothing that I can do in terms of upgrading my current pc?

Start from scratch. But start with a power supply and video card.

Put them in your computer until you can't bear not being able to run games the way you like, then move the video card and PSU into your new build. (case, ram, motherboard, CPU, Hard drive(s))

I'd recommend a solid 550w+ psu, and whatever video card you can afford. the jump in performance should keep you satisfied for a while.

While you're at it, pick a new case. you've still got some wiggle room in your budget. Make sure it has enough room for the video card, and USB 3.0 ports whether your current computer does or not.

You essentially need a new case, power supply, video card, CPU, and motherboard. The rest you can recycle from your current build.

I'm just gonna have to wait and later down the road build one from scratch, cause from what you just typed I can already tell its gonna be pricey.

Get your finances in order and figure up how much you are able and willing to spend, then come back with that figure. you need to start from scratch.
