Got a few ideas here from the local craigslist:

rochester.craigslist.org/ele/4051775531.html

That is this monitor on amazon:

Some other options:

Any opinions?

Really nice one but a bit out of my price range. :( Might splurge.

It is not smart to buy monitors off of Craigslist.

You'll have to increase your price range if you want to find a good monitor, unless you somehow are able to find a cheap one on Black Friday (VERY slim chance).

Guess I'll use my crappy one until then. It's just weird to me how literally every decent monitor out there is exactly at least 100 bucks. Regardless of brand or year or whatever. You'd think you could find a model from like 2-3 years ago or something brand new for like 40-50 bucks. But nope its just every new monitor is 100.

Most monitors over $100 generally last for a long time anyways. So as long as you do your research and purchase a good monitor, it will prevent you from spending another $100 (or more) on another one.
