Parents bought me a PC

Hey guys

Parents just bought me this for my b-day. They don't know much about PC's (heck, neither do I to be honest) but it should be shipped to my place real soon. Since you guys are all experts on this subject, how is it going to perform? I'm not looking to play everything on Ultra or anything like that, and I'll be upgrading down the road...but for now, will this be decent enough to enjoy some games on?

Odd are they bought you some pre built HP or something so it probably won't game well at all. If it's a desktop check to see if it has a slot for a dedicated video card, and if you buy one you could probably game some.

You can play League of Legends. Most popular game in the world.
You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

You can run Battlefield 3 at an average of 35 fps on Ultra settings 720p.

You'll be able to play any modern game, just not at very good settings. If that's not an issue for you, have fun! Otherwise, I'd ask my parents to get a refund.
