No, they're just trying to appeal to the console market so that people who don't know any better will buy their pre-built(s) that they release later. The "Steam Box". For PC gamers that just means more options for how to play, which I think is a good thing. I choose the PC version over the console version for one major reason, mouse control. If games start focusing primarily on gamepad use, the mouse will go the way of the dinosaur and then I'm stuck trying to aim my damn gun with a freaking analog stick. I pray this doesn't happen.
