Good "high bullet damage" shooters that can be co-oped through?

You could always try the free to play version of ARMA2 to get your feet wet. http://www.arma2.com/free

How intensive is Arma2 on its requirements?

My friend managed to run skyrim at playable rates, which surprises me given his labtop has subpar specs but I know the arma games require a lot.

Processor and graphics card of your system?

Don't use this TC, it's known to be very inaccurate.

Thank you for the advice.

My computer runs fine, it's my friends that's in question, of which I don't know the exact specs.

Hidden & Dangerous 2

I don't know if it's a digital download somewhere or not though.

Some mods here. The LAN mode isn't the campaign, but there is a mod that enables the campaign for cooperative.

Realism servers in Red Orchestra 2. Pretty much everything is one-hit kill. It's less how many kills you can get and more how long you can go without dying. Lots of getting shot and having no clue where the bullets came from. The old joke is it's a PTSD simulator.

RO2 can be wonderful, although it's not exactly co-op. I play realism from time to time with my buddy and it's always a refreshing change of pace from twitch shooters.

I miss SOCOM. :(

I realy hate to be the one that recommends it but CoD should set you straight. Headshots kill etc. The campaigns are trash but I reallly should try BO2 cuz it's got Tony Todd the Godfather of Horror.

I can't believe no one has suggested the Operation Flashpoint series.

One bullet from the enemy can kill you; depending on difficulty there are no respawns and no hud yet it's still fairly accessible.

It is not as complex and unforgiving as ARMA but it still sounds like something you might be looking for.

Dragon Rising is much better than Red River but both support co-op and both are worth playing.
