So, how good are Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales?

Worth waiting two months for? How much cheaper can you usually get stuff for?

Starting a new build soon and I'm not in any particular hurry, if the deals are good enough I'd wait

You should wait for AMD to flex their new 9000 series next month.

ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

For what? To get the 9000 series or a better price on an Intel chip?

Edit: the 9000 series GPU line, durrrr. That's a good point.

9000 series means cheaper and better offerings from both the older AMD cards and the Nvdia line.

IMO Black Friday sucks. Most of the crap they are getting rid of is pretty old inventory, and the deals aren't even that good.

You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.
