Ok, so I tried to play Mass Effect on my PS3 before. It was fun, but the framerate always bothered me. Most things just seemed choppy and it really detracted me from the experience.

So I've been planning on getting the PC and this the Gtx 660 is the graphics card i'm planning on getting. I watched a video of ME3 being played with the Gtx 660 and HOLY GEEZUS my game never looked anywhere near as smooth as that!

It's not that.

ME3 is not very demanding graphically, but it looks like a** on console.

You know you're a console gamer when...

...you find a stable 30 FPS incredibly smooth. (no offense)

Its smooth enough for my taste, I'm not a picky snob that can't live without 120. The fact that its stable though, even if it was just 30 FPS, is I'm guessing beyond what the consoles can do these days. I have no consoles though, so I can't directly compare.

Quick look on google does tell me the PS3 has FPS issues with ME3.

LIke all youtube vids they average out at 30FPS. Even cartoon shows and full length movies that are done at 24FPS still play in 30FPS on YT. SO You can't judge your games FPS through YT. That is not accurate at all.

Yeah, typically, console games run below 30fps a lot of the time.
I wonder if anyone noticed that the video doubles up frames, though. That's the real reason it looks smooth. Each 30th of a second contains two frames layered over eachother.
