I tried the apparently merciless Dark Souls that everyone claimed was so difficult, but beyond basic pattern recognition in move sets it required little to no thought or strategic approach (roll, roll, roll, parry, parry, roll) and I quickly got bored.

Can any of y'all recommend some CHALLENGING titles for me to check out?
ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

Can you give some examples of games you find "difficult"?

Competitive multi-player games would be the obvious answer. Starcraft 2, CS:GO, Natural Selection 2, etc.

Only console peasants think Dark Souls is hard, because they've been conditioned by playing hundreds of console games that can be finished by a blind man with no thumbs.

This entire topic reeks of stupid.
You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

The best course of action is to just get the information you need, then get out while you're still alive. - destroy everything on GameFAQs
