looking for a way to cover computer desk...

I have that water damage on the laminate on my desk and I wanted to buy some more to glue over it (it looks like my desk has chickenpox or something lol) and i want to keep my desk because it works fine.

I went to home depot to buy the material but you have to order like $100 worth just to get the small amount I need. They don't carry it in small quantities anymore.

And I'm thinking about using lining but they don't sell pieces wide enough so I'd have to double layer it.

Any suggestions other than buying a new desk?

Glass/plexiglass and some clear, double-sided tape.

Maybe you could buy some Wallpaper and paste it over your desk?

Oh, I didn't realize it had surface bubbles. I thought it just had spots.

You could sand down the bubbles and then paint.

Pretty much this. You have moisture in your desk, just covering it (with vinyl or paint) won't solve the issue.
