Hey all,

Now that AMD have announced the next series of GC's and other than the flagship they all seem to be rebrands of the 7000 series I am looking to upgrade from my Crossfired 1GB 5870s.

Does anyone know what sort of improvement I would see moving to a 3GB 7970 (No specific brand in mind yet just a rough idea.) I would imagine the biggest thing for me would be the increase in VRAM as I am increasingly struggle to get by with 1GB.

Also do you all think that 5870's are still worth enough to warrant selling? Either individually or as a pair.

The 7970 is a very good Programmable Parallel Computer Graphics Rendering Acceleration Daughterboard.
