Counter Strike Source

CS1.6
CS:GO

umm all Valve games...

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are on consoles, plus The Orange Box and the games it includes.

Also CS:GO is on consoles, it's original purpose was to get a CS game on consoles.

I think the biggest advantage isn't the exclusives so much as the PC gaming experience with the ease of use and setup of a console.

I mean, seriously. Greatly more customizable game settings, moddability for your games, complete backwards compatibility with other PC games, the ability to upgrade specific components, access to the amazing prices of PC games, using any control system you like, and the fact that, if you want to, you can just use the thing as a PC.

Really, if there are Machines that are priced similarly to consoles, it will be so good for console gamers to get started on PC gaming without actually needing to assemble their own. I've been talking to a console gamer friend of mine and he's probably going to get one, because I get most of my games on PC so we could play together more easily.

On top of that, he gets the advantages like the ability to mod games and use KB/M (which he realizes is more precise) and access to PC gaming prices. He probably doesn't plan to learn about upgrading the hardware, but if someday he wants to improve it without buying a whole new machine, he can just ask me for help. Which may in turn lead him to learn more about hardware and maybe even build his own PC some day...

It seems like a great idea to me. A lot of console gamers would do PC gaming if it weren't so hard for them to get started on. Steam Machines are a great way to enter into PC gaming.

Nothing really.

Anyone who'd rather go console only really just isn't that intelligent. It shows in consoles exclusives. They can often be unique and fun for a short while, but they require zero thought. Might as well stare at a wall.

Granted I've seen plenty of console games that do require thought, but none of them were very popular.

A lot of the decent games there are coming to console. The rest is indie tech demo garbage. The only PC exclusive I have remote interest in is Star Citizen and that's going to be a while till that comes out.

What is good/decent is subjective. Also this is only for this year, which isn't even over yet. I was responding to your silly claim that PCs don't have exclusives.

Let me rephrase, you guys don't have any good complete games. Most of that crap will be buggy, unfinished, beta/alpha stage, etc. Total War: Rome II worked out well for you guys.

We console gamers are soooooo jealous of Train/Truck simulator.

Consoles still don't have warband or the X series including the latest, x-rebirth.
