Are these are the same; "GPU, Video Card, Display Adapter, or Graphics Card" my friend insist graphics adapter is the Correct terminology.

They're all the same thing. Most people here use GPU because it's the shortest and easiest to type.

GPU refers to one part (the processor) of a graphics/video card.
Card means the whole thing, including the cooling unit. The distinction is rarely important in lay conversations, but it can be... for instance when talking about multi-GPU cards.

Apart from GPU, I'd consider them all the same thing (although I seldom hear anyone call them display adapters). As the above poster mentioned, GPU refers to just the processor.

I agree with this.

I say Video card. That's what I always called them in the 90s. They had 3D accelerator cards back then too, but that's standard now, so it's just "video card".
