Sli 770 or Single Titan?

#1MightySandvichPosted 9/26/2013 11:41:49 PM
Sli770 4gb = $850~
Titan = $750
Reason for titan being $250 cheap is because friend of mine won it at local raffel. Catch is he doesn't have pc just a mac book air. He is offering it to me $250 + tax/shipping off...

You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

SLI is much better, just make sure you get some fans on the side to cool the graphics card.

Even a GTX 760 SLI will beat a titan and should be fine for any 1080 to 1440p gaming if you are only gaming on a single monitor.

Titan because SLI can be problematic.

Better off just getting a 780 if TC wants to take that route. Titan just isn't worth the extra cost.

As silly as this sounds, I'd get a 780 lightening for now mainly because down the road if you want to SLI, it will probably be easier and cheaper to get a second 780.

I did... and a 780 is still cheaper with very similar performance. Not to mention what Triple S said.

It's only $100 more, and that isn't really a big deal when you're already spending $650.

But yes, if TC plans to SLI down the road, it will be much cheaper and more ideal to get a 780.
