If you can't hit 120fps in game you want to go with triple buffering/ half refresh rate right? Nvidia of course.

Don't force triple buffering. It causes more input lag. Only add it if performance is lack luster, and it has to be through a third party software. Nvidia control panel's triple buffering doesn't work for DX games.

I don't see why you'd need to. VSync is generally in place to reduce screen tearing, and if you're not hitting above 120FPS there shouldn't be much of that.

Explain why Crysis screen tears maxed out then without vsync on and doesn't go above 120fps?

Also I noticed if I don't use triple buffer on 120hz monitor then 60fps looks slightly jittery, triple buffer seems the only way to get rid of it.

Dude, you already made this pointless thread. If you are using a 120Hz monitor vsynch should never be enabled. If it somehow needs to be....

D3D Overrider.

EDIT - What are you playing to ask this? Left4Dead? HalfLife2? ie- any Valve made game that nets any decent card 200fps? lol

My other thread was a question about different vsync options being forced together if they work or not also were do you people come up with this bull about games don't tear if you don't go over the refresh rate? I've seen it in a couple games before were they weren't going over the refresh rate and still tearing.

Are you certain your display is actually running at 120Hz?
