Maybe your monitor is broken or subpar, i never see tearing anymore on my 120hz monitor, do you have lightboost?
tearing has less to do with rthe monitor, and more to do with how the GPU sends information (half frames) to the monitor.
Things to do * set ingame vsync on * try dxtory * turn the monitors refresh rate down * if the game has an option for max fps, set that to your refresh rate. * Nvidia control panel's vsync settings to on. --- I think I'm the only person on gamefaqs with a daughterboard - ToastyOne New with a moderation history more plentiful than karma. - Fossil (Moderator)

Tearing happens at every framerate and every refreshrate when vsync isn't present. If you don't notice it, great! But it's still there. --- Want that Shield! Ball and Cup on ps mobile has framerate issues. -stargazer64
