Red, brown, blue or black? What is the difference between them and which are best?

there is no best as they are mostly preferential, although blues are the only one with an objective disadvantage for gaming (typing too, really, but they have a unique feel that many people like)

I always recommend Browns the most, both for gaming and for typing

There's no "best", just read up on each of them and decide which one you think sounds like you would enjoy it... in the end there's no real way to know except by sampling them.
I've used Blues, I like typing on them a lot but they're too noisy for my taste.
I use Browns at work and Reds at home and like Reds the best. Blacks I simply do not like.

I prefer Brown, but you might not.

I prefer Brown, too. Pretty good if you are a gamer but type a lot as well.
