For those that applied for the Steam Living Room beta...

If you get it, how serious are you going to be when you test SteamOS, the machine, and the controller? For example, which one of these sounds like something you'd do?:

1. "W00T I GOT IN! Time to brag about it and marvel at it!"
2. "I'm going to play games normally and make note of anything I like and don't like."
3. "I'm going to play games normally, but I'm also going to go out of my way a bit to try and find problems."
4. "I'm going to take full advantage of it. I'll play it, mod it, hack it, and write about it."

Also, would you keep this board updated with your experiences? Post pictures? Videos? Things like that?

What else would you do if you got into the beta?

Personally, I'm somewhere in between number 2 and 3, and I'd try to keep this board updated with my findings.

I did it for the badge, not that I actually want to test it. I would set it up to try it out and probably not touch it after another hour.

Try to make Origin compatible with it.

I'd mostly use it naturally. Just do what I do and see what happens. What's slow and clunky, what's awesome, what feels like it's unfinished, what's broken, et cetera.

I'd do some random crap just to test what other people might end up doing with there's, but overall I'd just treat it like it was a normal product I bought for myself, except with note-taking.

I'll give it to my dad so he can have a competent gaming machine. Well, presuming his games work on it, that is.
Crimson night & Celsion moon, misfiction, not save the Player is Prayer, yes, Dance Romanesque and unfinished Romancia.

They most likely won't. I'm sure you'd have to install Windows on it, unless you're referring to the streaming functionality.

I would probably exploit the hell out of it, to be honest.
