Would this be able to play most games decently? I ask because I know very little about computers and I finally got the money to get a new one so I just want to know if I'll be set with this. --- IGN: Frank West

I think Planetside 2 is CPU intensive, which is where you lack. It will run though. --- You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.

My CPU has a haswell chip. Idk jack **** about this computer but my friend told me that this processor is decent because of that fact. --- IGN: Frank West

It will run. Just don't expect max settings with 60fps. Will likely run at high settings with above 30fps in all but the hairiest of situations though. --- 2500k @ 4.4 | P8Z68-V Pro | H80 | 8GB | 670 | 256 ssd | 6Tb hdd | Win 8 64bit | ax1200w | BD burner | cm690II Steam: DV8ing1

At least you don't have an AMD chip. SOE's optimization for those is embarrassingly terrible. I'vve seen systems that max BF3 and Crysis 3 brought below 30fps at times. That's inexcusable. --- If they asked how I died tell them: Still angry.

I'd go for an i5 over an i3.....planetside 2 is very CPU demanding, although SOE is trying to heavily optimized the game so it may be easier to run if the reports regarding FPS increases are true. i3 will run it, but honestly, an i5 is highly recommended. --- Desktop: Phenom II X4 965 | 8 GB DDR3 | GTX 580 | 1 TB HDD | W7 | 650W Antec | 1600x900 Laptop: A6 3400m | 4 GB DDR3 | HD 6520g | 500 GB HDD | W7 | 1366x768

Go for an i5 if you can. Right now performance is awful and everybody using a computer that is considered remotely high end is CPU bound at all times. They've put out at least two videos looking at the optimization process they're going through right now and they have promised that the game will soon have a much better advantage in CPUs with more than 2 cores than it does right now, because at the moment almost everything processor intensive about the game runs in a single thread. --- i5 2500k at 4.5ghz - EVGA GTX 670 - MSI Z68A-GD80 - Seasonic X 750W - GSkill 16GB - Crucial m4 128GB - NZXT Beta EVO

You've got a good GPU there, but get a better CPU. As mentioned, PS2 is very CPU intensive and an i3 isn't exactly top-of-the-line. Go for an i5 if you can.
