Finally it seems I managed to get rid of some nasty malware I apparently had

So apparently that
pup.datamngr virus was a very dangerous one

If this article is to be believed, that was the main culprit yet none of my anti malware and anti virus tools could detect it.

I need to go back to using Linux as my main OS and use windows for gaming and adobe products exclusively.

Or just don't let idiot friends browse porn/warez sites on your computer.

Back in the day when I was using Kaspersky Internet Security and Windows XP, around 2005-2009 or so I'd use blackbox as my shell, have all kinds of security and crap and wouldn't let anyone use internet outside of VMWare.

But later I decided that was too nerdy so I stopped doing it
and now I have to deal with crap like this

welp
we're back to explorer lagging when the internet slows down/temporary is down and fixing itself some 15 seconds after I pull out the ethernet cable

I'm at a total loss now
None of the anti malware tools detect anything.

Could a faulty ethernet cable be causing something like this?
I've been using this same exact ethernet cable since 2003, it's not in the best condition either.

Now I know, for a fact my system is clean

If every single one of these programs I use says it's clean then it must be clean

I guess I was lucky all day long and my ISP wasn't having any issues.
I had mostly no problems over the past say week or two until the other day either.

This DEFINITELY only happens when the internet is screwed up

Everything just up and fixes itself the moment the connection is lost real and programs stop searching for one.

I'm not doing that because I know enough to know that it wont' solve anything
I see how well my system works when the internet is fine or when there is no connection at all.
Once again there is no malware

So whatever this is, it's bound to happen even with windows reinstalled

Just reinstall windows.

Then after you install windows.
Fully run Windows update and have Windows defender and UAC enabled.
Use Ninite to install programs, don't install programs not from Ninite unless you REALLY need something else. (Which for the most part, unlikely)
Don't install Java.
Don't Install Flash.
Install and browse with Firefox, then within firefox, install: Ghostery, Noscript, and adblock plus.
