I can't get my wireless 360 pad working on the pc?

I got an unofficial wireless receiver. i pair them up, and the 360 pad just keeps flashing indefinitely, all four quadrants.

You need to go I to the driver manually and select a driver called xbox 360 driver or something like that

i read something about that, but it said for an 'unknown device', but there isnt one of those in device manager

Uninstall the drivers that came with it, then it will show unknown device. Alternatively, you can find the unofficial drivers listed as whatever, and just force the official drivers on it.

i can't install or uninstall drivers from device manager because I have no idea what this is

it has no unkown device option
