wow, the top five (only 90+) are all meh to trash tier. Indie games are such tripe
Indie games don't get good scores usually. Doesn't mean they aren't good games. Remember Metacritic takes scores from all the major review sites, and it is generally known those are all "fixed", the same COD games getting 9's and 10's left and right, year after year. AAA games get great scores for being mediocore $60 pieces of trash, indie games get warm scores for being short $10-20 games, usually way more fun than the last AAA game you bought.
On topic, going to say FTL was my favorite indie game. I only put a dozen or two hours in the game, but those 20-30 hours were more fun than many other $60 games. --- You can buy a $500 console and a $500 computer and have two crap machines, or you can spend $1000 building your own computer and have the best of both worlds.
Out of that list, I don't have a definite favorite since I like I lot of the them:
Mark of the Ninja Braid World of Goo Torchlight II LIMBO Super Meat Boy Bastion Hotline Miami Amnesia: The Dark Descent AudioSurf Skullgirls Trine 2: Complete Story Cave Story+ Dungeon Defenders Rochard Vessel Outlast Stealth Bastard Deluxe Stacking Trine Anomaly: War Zone Dustforce Awesomenauts Deadlight Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Hamilton's Great Adventure Anodyne --- PSN ID: ecosvaldo | 3DS Friend Code: 2707-1633-0103 | PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/ABH
It's not on the list but Guns or Icurus is an amazing game. better then a lot of the 'AAA' titles out there. --- Everything EA contributed to gamers around the world in one youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBoesEFWZnM
