any fun games to play online that doesn't get patched anymore?

i love my warcraft 3 online, but i want other games to play. I'm thinking of getting battlefield bad company 2, but I'll have to dl the patch at a friend's house because I heard it has a 2.5gb patch and I have a 10gb monthly usage limit.

Any decent games to play online that I can buy retail (disc)? I thought about torchlight 2 but its download only.

bump

please!

it can be anything that has been released in the past 10 years or so. I already own and play wc3, halo combat evolved, sc2, diablo 2, and unreal tournament 3 online

anything else that doesn't have too big of patches? I don't really enjoy team fortress

I'm not sure how many people even keep track of how big the patches are (unless they are unusually large or long). It's a bit of an odd requirement.

You'd probably be better off with some older games (but of course less people play those).

Problem with most recent games is even if you by the disc they are Steamworks (or Origin, Uplay, etc) so you would end up downloading a lot anyway.

What kind of game are you looking for?

Have you considered Euro Truck Simulator 2?

The game itself isn't really online but it has an online network in the game where you can hire drivers from.

Lolno. TF2 got a massive rebalance patch not too long ago.

well i like rpg's, but warcraft 3, a rts w/ rpg elements, is by far my favorite online game to play.

i could also play some shooters and i've been looking at battlefield bad company 2 for a while now, which I'm aware it has a big 2.5gb patch to it to play online.

I love games with huge open worlds but that doesn't have to be a requirement. I just want a game that is fun to play online and I can have a good time messing around in it. Doesn't have to be 100% action to it.
