What would be the best backup system for my situation?

Hi, I'm doing lots of content creation like writing code and creating graphics. With code, I do have versioning systems, but I'd like something more. I'd like to have a backup system that would watch my projects directory and make incremental dated backups to another folder (local or network) automatically every set period of time. I need the backup to have a good history system so that I can go back in time and get the version I want. What would be the software for me?

Probably a RAID 1 would be good if you have an unused HD laying around... just keep in mind the second HD has to be the same size or bigger...

But it doesn't give me history does it? Thing is I sometimes screw up a code file or inadvertently delete a file which I though was no longer useful.

No you are right it doesn't do history... sorry didn't think about that... you could use the Windows 7 File Recovery tool...

I believe Norton Ghost has this functionality.
