The sound works just fine, but I either use it on my PS2 and it skips a lot (but otherwise looks fine) or my PC's bluray where it's all electronically static and unwatchable.

It's brand new, factory wrapped, but it's unwatchable. Was hoping to see here if anyone can figure out a fix for it. It doesnt work on VLC at all, only windows player. It was at a convention out of state that I bought it in, so I cant get a refund.

Anyone ever have this issue before?

It's a defective DVD.

Also, I'm completely unfamiliar with "Computer static."

Come to think of it, this sounds like a bootleg.

If the disc is not protected then try MPC HC.

Agreed. Use this device to completely de-computer static it.
