I noticed that in SOME games where if i move the camera a lot or of if the game transitions to another scene, or if its a cut scene there would be a lot of weird lines. not sure how to explain it..

but anyways im using an asus 23inch montior 2ms vsync on and off and i still get the same problem. I thought with a 2ms screen it would be BUTTERY SMOOTH? whats going on? the refresh rate is 120HZ btw.

I ask because I also have another monitor HP 25BW 7MS 60HZ , it looks better than the ASUS 23inch monitor but at the same time i still get those weird lines (IDK what the term is called)..

can anyone explain this?

Screen tearing?

You're probably describing screen tearing. Some games have vsync or a framerate lock on by default which eliminates screen tearing. Some games don't have noticeable screen tearing even if you don't have vsync or a framerate lock on. Some games have noticeable screen tearing if you have vsync off.

I don't think it's screen tearing since it's happening with Vsync on or off.
