Shadowrun Returns - PC or Android?

Kinda interested in picking the game up, although not sure which version to get, and I don't want both.

I'm leaning toward the Android version since its $5 less (I'm also getting a $10 Play Store gift card from a contest making it free essentially) and I couldn't care less about the editing tools. Having it on the go would be a nice plus too.

I'm just concerned about how playable it is on a touchscreen. My phone is huge at 6.44" so I'm not concerned about text being unreadable, I just don't want to struggle if there's a lot of time-sensitive scenarios that would rely on accurate clicking and whatnot, since I know the Android version of the game is technically intended for actual tablets.

It's turn-based. There are almost no time sensitive situations--if any at all.

Buy the cheaper version. I personally would never play any game on my phone but if it is something you are comfortable with then I would save the money.

Cool, just wasn't sure since Shadowrun on Genesis was action/time-based. Still kinda worried about my screen being too small but if anything I'll just get a refund if I find it too small within the first few minutes.

Its a pretty short game. I liked the snes cartridge better honestly but it was fun and I'm glad it exists.
I only played pc but the game is read text heavy with multiple dialogue choices so I imagine on a tiny screen that would be a major pain. Either baby small font or scrolling for every interaction.
So PC I guess.

There is no question which version is better. I'm not a "PC MAstaRR RaCe!!!" idiot or anything like that, but here are the big differences.

1. PC version has access to User Generated Contest. Android/iPad do NOT.

2. Android/iPad version has many effects missing (rain and such) to keep the game playable on the hardware.

3. Depending on your iPad or Android tablet, unless it is really high end, many people are reporting crashes probably due to memory issues. On the PC front, even my crap-tier laptop with itegrated graphics card runs this game pretty flawlessly.

4. Bottom line, it was DESIGNED for PC and ported (imperfectly) to mobile platforms.

No TC. Underrrail is better than Shadowrun and cost $9.99. Underrrail looks similar to Shadowrun, Diablo style. Go to youtube and have a look.

The PC version has the workshop so fans can create their own stories and upload them to all other players. For example somebody is working on a full remake of the SNES Shadowrun story through the workshop. The Android version doesn't have the workshop or fan created content.

The modding/scripting community is almost the entire reason to buy the game.
