Phone problems

#1The_AntiGrimPosted 10/1/2013 10:01:22 AM
So i have an HTC Rezound that i dropped. the screen is completely screwed, and I had a bunch of stuff on there that I would like to recover. Stuff like porn, music, books, videos, etc.

It still turns on, and from the thousands of colors flickering, i can tell it still boots up. Unfortunately, when I last had my phone connected to my computer, I had it set to "Charge Only" for the default setting. The LCD is destroyed, and the touch screen is as well, so I can't navigate anything at all.

Can anyone offer some help? I asked my carrier, and they said that unless I used a back-up feature, that there was nothing they can do.

There's a button combination to put it into download mode. That will allow you to access your files

Theoretical options I can think of based on other devices:
1. If USB debugging was enabled try using ADB from recovery (home or power+ up)
2. Try loading recovery anyway in case either ADB is enabled anyway or it mounts your internal storage
3. Try fastboot (power or home+ down) which may allow you to access the internal storage with or something like ADB (I have nothing to test this theory with though)
4. If you previously unlocked the device try flashing a custom recovery like CWM which allows you to use physical controls and can possibly mount the internal storage.

Again, these are purely theories.

Was the stuff saved to internal memory, or to a memory card? If it's a card, just take it out and use a card reader. If it wasn't a card, use a card in the future. :P

in the internal. I used the 16GB sd for music. That's all that's on the SD. Once I filled it up, i started putting it on the internal. everything that's on the SD card is already recovered. It's the stuff on the internal I'm trying to get to.

Oh and I installed Clean Rom onto the phone. No idea what version, I did it a year ago.
