Which has a higher competitive skill ceiling...MOBAS, RTS or FPS games?

That's weird I was sort of thinking this and suddenly this topic popped up lol
Honestly depends on the game, people will instinctively say RTS but high level FPS can be very difficult if you don't possess certain abilities. Usually you can get better the more you play a RTS by learning strats and such but with FPS I find people who have bad accuracy, reaction speed and timing find it much harder to improve. Out of the three FPS certainly the most newbie friendly.

accuracy, reaction speed and timing is needed in RTS as well.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.

Quake 3 is one of the few oldschool FPS that's actually easier than it looks. Large hitboxes and restrected movement make for easy "skillshots". That's why it's so much fun to watch.

That said, RTS.

Fighting game enthusiast here, RTS > Fighting Games > MOBAS/FPS is my own personal experience.

I'm going to be the odd guy out to say FPS.

I've heard that MOBAS can be very intense and you really need great muscle memory to do a few hundred commands a minute in terms of professional gaming. I've never played a MOBA but that sounds really crazy.

Obviously, it will depend on the specific game you are talking about, but overall for genres:
RTS > FPS > Fighting > MOBA

You have to do many more than that in an RTS, though. High-level APM [actions per minute] in a MOBA is usually around 150-250, while in SCII, pros often do extended bouts of 300-450.

RTS

It distinctively requires the most multi-tasking.

I'd definitely agree with RTS > Fighting > MOBA/FPS
