You know most AAA games lack fast and fun gameplay. And the gameplay part of those 10hours is likely sectioned by cutscenes which would factor into that same time length.
What I'm trying to get at is, "do you guys replay at all?" Because the replay value is what trully matters IMO. It means the game is fun. Its length is just the length of the cycle of each replay.

I am no longer dumb enough to pay $60 for an 8 or less-hour experience. If those games are fun, I'll wait a year or however long it takes for them to drop. I simply can't justify it when strategy games and RPGs cost less and provide a much, much more generous "time played : $$" ratio. --- The Garden Of Rama Arthur C. Clarke is the one true God.

In my case? Rarely. There are so many new experiences available and I don't have time to play everything that interests me as it is, so why would I focus even more on a game where I've already seen 95% of the content? I mainly play games for new experiences. I realize everyone has their own reasons for playing the games they do but for me, its a one and done type thing 90% of the time. --- 2500k @ 4.4 | P8Z68-V Pro | H80 | 8GB | 670 | 256 ssd | 6Tb hdd | Win 8 64bit | ax1200w | BD burner | cm690II Steam: DV8ing1

Speaking of MGR, my friend just sent me MGR wallscroll because I loaned my copy out to him for a few months. http://i.imgur.com/snYe4sE.jpg

>new experiences You're not serious are you? >___>
Ok, sure, games can be awesome experiences, but if they're not replayable, they are not fun/worthy to play at all. I am not even saying the game needs to have different paths or so. It is just simply fun to play it. If that's your position for almost every game you play then you probably should be watching books or reading movies.
Though, well, I respect your position and all.
But I'm totally the oposite. I search for that one good game in the sea of derivative crap that, when I find it, I play it for like 1 months.
