No issue, wasn't planning on buying it anyway. *shrug*

I have a BD writer but I would find the move to be really stupid. The only reason I have a BD drive is because I do a lot of archiving. Most PC owners these days have little reason to use a DVD drive but at least having one isn't a big deal since they're like $20. Expecting people to have a $60 BD drive would be pretty ridiculous.

Everyone should have a BD drive on their PC.

And why is that?

Because it's not that expensive to get a decent one, and as much as people love to trash physical media, sometimes they just come in handy.

Like when?

Like when you're building a PC and need to put Windows on it, for one.

That's what USB drives are for. I have one that boots to a menu allowing me to install whatever WIndows OS or Linux Distro I have on there.

The only valid reason to have a drive is for ripping purposes.
For ripping muic, you're better of picking up an old IDE Plextor drive like the PX-230A and getting a $30 IDE Drive enclosure to connect it via USB when you need it.

For ripping anime, TV shows, movies, etc. you need a BD drive, but most people don't do that.

I'll pass. I hate physical games.

And that's why there is an obesity problem.

McDonald's isn't digital food.

Getting up to change discs isn't going to keep you skinny either.

It helps, and honestly if you're vocal about having to change discs you can probably use every bit of exercise you can get.

I run 10k for fun, and I haven't bought a digital game in years.

I don't care about physical because physical is pointless on the PC.

If that's at all true, good for you. I was referring to the people that claim getting up to change a disc is a huge hassle, for those people a bit of exercise would likely do them good.
