Wow 8 core? This and bf4 so far seem to be the beginning of the end for i5.

I'm sure the i5s will run them well enough but I mean for maxing games.

I hope this isn't legit. I built my system auth the intent of next gen gaming...I only have a 4770k and this looks very cpu heavy. I didn't plan on OCing any time soon.

I think a modern quad-core with hyperthreading @ 3.5 GHz (3.9 GHz with Turbo Boost) Intel processor should do well against a weak 1.6 GHz AMD eight-core processor.

Hopefully, at least.
