Curious how it performs. Between the requirements for BF and Watch Dogs in considering upgrading. I have a 6300 but I've been wanting to upgrade, and this wouldn't even require me to buy a new mobo.

well then might as well go for the new fx cpu's the 9370 black edition for $300 is solid or you can spend a (little) more like $400 more and get the 9790 or whatever it is 8 core.

funny thing is intel haswell quad core performs close to the 9370 for half the price

Considering the new AMD chips are pretty much just factory OC'd 8350s I can't imagine why anyone would go for them. Especially with the heat issues. There's a reason they don't ship with factory cooling.
If they asked how I died tell them: Still angry.

8350 runs the beta smooth. It still holds back my GPU, but that's because it's a monster.

It's doing a great job for me, getting 40-70 frames at 1440p max no MSAA, and my HD 7950 is holding it back. Load is about 60% on each core so all its power is being used.

AMD 8 cores do well in this game.
