Humble Weekly Bundle: Season 3: Nordic Games

I wouldn't mind a Bethesda bundle at all. And I agree, I never imagined EA would do a bundle. Getting DS3 for a buck was awesome.

Nordic games, but no Skyrim?

I might get it for Darksiders 2.

Skyrim?
In the Humble Bundle?
Hah.

Yeah, we'll never see AAA games in the humble bundle like Crysis 2, Mirrors edge, and Saints row 3 on the humble bundle right?

That's EA and THQ. Bethesda is not going to put Skyrim in a Humble Bundle. If they do, it won't be for quite some time. Even then, I really doubt it.

Had they not done so, you would be saying the exact same thing for EA. Hell I'd expect Bethesda to do it MUCH SOONER than EA, so your point is kinda invalid. Skyrim can definitely get in a bundle.

There are a number of reasons why EA put up a Humble Bundle. Trying to get people to migrate over to Origin, being a positive publicity stunt when they had so much bad PR at the time, etc.
My other example should be pretty obvious, as we all know the state THQ was in at the time.
Bethesda has literally no reason to put Skyrim in a humble bundle at this time.

And the bundle made me install origin on my PC, along with 4 games on it. Plus i ended up buying BF3 Premium. So EAs strategy was pretty good it seems.

hopefully darksiders 2 is better then the 1st one because that one disgusted me.....

if you like the crap WRPG genre then it will be right up your alley

Except it's in the same genre as Zelda, which means action RPG at best and sure as hell not WRPG.

Darksider 1 is like Zelda,

Darksiders 2, while is an solid game, puts too many crap WRPG elements into it. TOo many fetch quest, loot...etc. Pads the game a bit.

Darksiders 1 is way better than 2. 2 has the better combat but the first is better overall IMO.

Nothing that sounds interesting to me. I bought Darksiders 2 when it first came out and it was very worth it. Other then that it's a mostly stuff I've never heard of or wasn't that good like Painkiller H&D wasn't a very good HD remake.

It's better in every single way. DS1 was pretty much a God Of War wannabee with a PC port. Part 2 has a much faster lead character with a totally different fighting style. The puzzles have gotten much bigger and better, hence the frequent Zelda comparisons and fewer GOW comparisons. They added in random loot drops like Diablo. There's also plenty of powers you can pick from as you level up which really change up the way to fight like if you want to focus more on summons or direct damage. Also the controls are flawless on both controller and keyboard + mouse.

Have ANY of the Painkiller games besides the first and arguably the second been any good?
