Looking to buy a new router, recommendations?

Maximum of $80.

Basically my router has been like, restarting on its own randomly (a D-link router, apparently) and it's driving me insane, so we're replacing it. Sadly I don't know much about routers myself at all. The only specification I know of is that it needs to have wireless capability.

Thanks for any advice.

Edit: I was also thinking it might be a good idea for it to be compatible with this:

^Stumbled across that while trying to resolve the issue with my current router, thinking a firmware update would fix the problem. But the one I currently have isn't compatible with it so that was a no go. Any opinions on that?

I suppose I should probably update this signature soon.

That one looks good, and similar to another one I was looking at. Any other recommendations at this price range? Purchase slightly delayed, so still looking around a bit.

Actually says it's DD-WRT router eh? Can't say that I know which of the two recommended is better (no one is actually saying anything lol), but I'll run it by this other person I know and see what they think about it I suppose. Thanks.

Looked into that. If we end up going with it, it's not gonna be me putting that together. It does seem like a really good idea if we can find a decent old computer lying around that just won't spontaneously explode or anything. Is it really better than most routers you can by yourself or is it just a free alternative?

It's good enough to handle professional needs if necessary
