I can play bioshock infinity with max setting at like 35 fps and my card is like 4 years old lol.

I don't know if my perfomance is going to maintain that level... GTA 5 and battlefield 4 are coming, I want to know if I'm gonna have to lower my res :(.

Yes, in most likelihood.

Rough guesstimate on your card. I think BF4 has 660/7870 as recommended cards. 5850 is a bit below that.

Still, the upgrade doesn't have to be 290x (obviously).
