I doubt they're going to get that much bigger. PS3 had some massive exclusive games on it, which were mainly huge just because they could be. The average for PC games is about 10GB right now. It'll go up slowly, but not a huge jump from 10 to all games being 30 GB anytime soon. By then hopefully SSDs are a lot cheaper and internet speeds increase. I really hope for fiber starts spreading a lot faster.
And if you hear as the warm night falls. The silver sound from a time so strange. Sing to me, sing to me.
Time Magazine on September 14, 2012, said that rather than wanting to actually operate as an internet service provider, the company was just hoping to shame the major cable operators into improving their service so that Google searches could be done faster.
Hey, Google? I can see your plan to run more traffic into your site, but sorry, it's not very effective, the ISPs not scared enough yet. Fiber needs to really go gung-ho and spread to all the major cities. Google may be the BIG BOYS but these companies won't flinch until they knock right at their door.
An ISP won't be good enough until every user experiences bandwidth surplus, more bandwidth than they can make use of.
