Is there a way to do Eyefinity with a phantom monitor?

By that I mean [monitor1][monitor2][monitor3] laid out like that, only... monitor1 doesn't exist.

But I still want my view centered on monitor2, and peripheral on monitor3

Is the adapter you're using for your display port, or mini-display port, active and recommended by amd?

I'm thinking that because my phantom monitor that i'm forcing is VGA.

In order to use vga at all with eyefinity, requires that you use a dp-vga adapter. Which I do not have.

I've got a dvi-d and a DP-hdmi adapter hooked up.

I just want peripheral vision on my right hand side. :(
