How is the HP Pavilion 17-e020dx?

Saw it at Best Buy for 400 dollars and my Grandma is willing to buy it for me, but I'm not to certain about it. It says it has good reviews from various websites, but it says that battery life is short. And I don't know if the AMD Radeon HD 8550g graphics card is any good or not. Can it play HD videos? Play PC games (at least medium settings) smoothly? Somes games for example I'm going to play are

Elsword and Left 4 Dead 2.

It should probably play HD videos fine. As far as medium settings for those games . . . uhhhh that might be pushing it. That graphics card falls somewhere between a GeForce GT 620 and GeForce GT 630

Is your heart set on a laptop? You might be able to get a pre-built for the same price with better performance.

If you mean a pre-built desktop, there are 2 I had my eyes on for a while.

My grandma said her limit is 600 dollars. So these 2 fall in the price range.
