Had to put in the old 4670 card as my 6790 completely died. however, after uninstalling old drivers, and installing the new ones... I happened to notice on MSI afterburner my clocks are set to 600 core 500 memory...I know that's not right. GPU usage in Diablo 3 (easy to run game) gets up to 90% with only a couple monsters on screen. Than my drivers crash and it "recovers".
I'm sure it's something stupid but i'm stumped. I'm gonna try some more stuff, but any ideas? --- Phenom II 960T at 3.5ghz, HD6790, 8gig Ripjaws, Antec Neo Eco 620c, Source 210.
just tried uninstalling drivers, rebooting in safe mode, using driver sweeper, restarting and reinstalling FRESH. Still stuck at 600 core 500 memory.
NEVER getting an AMD card again. One fries (thanks HIS for your great quality fan), and this one is just a driver nightmare... --- Phenom II 960T at 3.5ghz, HD6790, 8gig Ripjaws, Antec Neo Eco 620c, Source 210.
