Iris or Iris Pro worth it or is battery life hit hard?

Go for an ultrabook or something beefy yet portable with a 650M?

battery life on what usage? playing games? idling? office tasks? rendering videos? anything cpu/gpu dependent will eat your battery and your battery life will be about the same. but, usually battery life is better at idling/less intensive tasks on a ultrabook (with or without haswell) than an average 15.6"

iris pro is good as a 650m. you'd be better off getting the ultrabook with iris/iris pro rather than get something with the 650m, unless price is an issue

650m is pretty weak . If you want a laptop that's still going be able to play games on medium 2-3 years down the road get something better. I made the mistake of buying a laptop with a 2 gb 560m 2 years ago and it's pretty much useless now.
