middle of a sentence?

I can be typing something on this new computer and sometimes it has a small hiccup and my cursor ends up back in the middle of the sentence I'm typing, making me have to go back and delete the error and restart where I left off.

Just gets confusing.

Yeah. Never had one that this happened on.

I downloaded this touch freeze ap and it's seemed to have fixed everything.

I had that too on my old ASUS laptop, either something is brushing the touchpad or the sensor on it is faulty and it thinks something is.

I just disabled it completely and it stopped.

There should be an option to disallow tapping the trackpad counting as a click. I think it'd be in the Mouse section? You'll still have the cursor move, but it shouldn't be clicking in the middle of words anymore.
