I'm building a PC for a friend and he wants an R9 290X but he's planning to buy another one in the next 2 years so I need recommendation on a good PSU. I was thinking the Seasonic M12II 620 bronze but I don't know if I need something maybe with 700w and up. CPU is FX 8350 and wants to OC so I recommended water cooling. Thanks in advance. Where is Shub?

Crossfire R9 290Xs with an overclocked 8350? A good 750W unit should be up to the task.

Can you recommend specific PSU model? I always try to go Seasonic but I don't know too much about PSUs

Any of the below should be fine. The XFX units are made by Seasonic. The Rosewill Capstone is made by Super Flower (a very good PSU OEM).

I am loath to recommend anything in the absence of reviews for that new card, but if it keeps in line with current power trends, I agree that a good 750W is very likely to be fine for an overclocked FX-8350 and a pair of those new AMD cards.
That $99 ($79 after MIR) Corsair HX750 seems like a great deal, too. It's been among the best 750W units on the market ever since it came out, and it's been 4+ years.
