How do I get the black bar on top to show up on the https version of Google?

The https version of Google doesn't have the black bar on top that shows other products/feautures like images, maps, etc, which is EXTREMELY inconvenient. Anyone know how to get it back? I can't even use the regular http version anymore.

Google changed the design. Now instead of the black bar, there's an icon with a picture of a grid. Click it and it will show icons for all of the other Google services.

That's only in Chrome. There's no grid in Firefox.

If AMD goes down Intel might safely release i9 for $300 and i7 for $200 and i5 for $100 and i3 for free. - su27Chaos<

Hmm. Seems I've been defaulting to https://encrypted.google.com instead of just https://google.com, where there is no grid icon. Whoops.
