That's friggin weird because MS said their Xbox One controller won't be PC compatible until 2014

That's possibly Sony's plan. 1) watch what microsoft does 2) do the opposite 3) win

Ideal "traditional" controller:
Xbox 360 Ergonomics and stick layout.
6 Face buttons.
Saturrn Model 2 D-Pad.

Oh well, all I need is the 360 controller and maybe a fight arcade stick.

I reckon Microsoft was referring to full compatibility, where games will use features exclusive to the X1 controller in 2014. It will likely become the new, "official" controller for PC games starting next year.

I guess it's different tastes. I don't like the segmented D-pad of the Dual Shock. Playing Guilty Gear with it was the first time I seriously got blisters.

You get blisters from gaming?? Wow you're doing it so wrong.

Fighting games don't work well with most dpads. I tried playing Tekken 3 the other night on my ps3 and had to stop after half an hour because it was wearing at my thumb. That makes the PS3 dpad worse than the strings on my guitar.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.

The PS3 controller could never be used with the PC without using a shady program called motioninjoy or a driver that gave the BSOD. This is good news.

Except charging for online multiplayer, which everyone overlooks.

i hope so but i am doubtful, a lot of pc games won't support the ds3 controller without additional software, hope that changes with the ds4.
