I'm you guys heard of this news already, CoD:Ghosts will be 50GB size. I doubt they will retail a game with about 8 DL-DVD's. So I take it will be digital only. How would you feel if they shipped it on a BD ?

I'd download it through steam or other provider.

50 gigs... have to do math here

(I'm rounding values here, but not in the calculation)
50 * 1024 = 51,200mb
@3mbyte per second thats
51,200/3 = 17,066 seconds
17,066 / 60 = 284.44 minutes
284/60 = 4.74 hours

(someone check my math)

So about 5 hours to download the game for me, that's not bad.
I'd never buy it anyways, since it's an FPS and I hate that genre, but still, 50 gigs is no big deal.

Too bad most people can't download at 3 Megabytes per second.

3 megabytes a second isn't that hard to hit if you live in a remotely on the grid town.

so much bloat it's kind of idiotic.

maybe it would be expected from a huge mmo but a fricking fps? just ugh.

Maybe its 50gb install size? The download could be smaller.
