Looking for a gaming mouse with a light weight pressure right click.

#1DevilTriggerSSSPosted 10/8/2013 11:18:40 AM
I'm looking for a gaming mouse that doesn't require a heavy press on the right click key, so that I only have to lightly touch it to engage it.

The problem I find with a lot of mice is that they make the press-weight even on both buttons. But typically this means you have to work your wrist a lot harder to press on the right button, because your index finger has WAY more press control their your ring/little finger, and it's also much closer to your center of gravity.

I used to use a g500 and liked that mouse's feel a lot except for this minor element to it.

Any recommendations?

I was going to recommend the G500, lol

That really didn't have an easy enough actuation to you? I find myself accidentally right click just from the weight of my finger all the time with mine.

I liked the g500 a lot but I just wish the buttons weren't so low.

That's a strange way of holding the mouse. My index rests on the left click and my middle finger rests on the right click, as most people do. Do you have a really small hand?

This... except I was going to ask if you had a handicap.

The G400S is the best mouse you can get if you want an ergonomic shape.
The Zowie FK is the best mouse you can get if you want an ambidextrous mouse.

The Zowie might be better for you if you have small hands, as it's smaller.

learn how to hold a mouse, and you'll find any mouse to be sufficient for your needs.

I've been using my middle finger for the scroll wheel for as long as I can remember, and it works well since in WoT I need to use all three mouse buttons at the same time very often.

I've never heard of anyone holding a mouse that way.
